Item description:

This piece of silvertone metal is a long, tubular shape, about half a
centimeter in diameter, bent and shaped into the form of a broken heart with
the right side of the heart formed and then zig-zagged down the middle.  The
left side is curved around to form the other half of the heart and then the
open end has been soldered tightly closed against the top of the zig-zag. 
The zig-zag reaches three-quarters of the way through the shape, resembling
the simple drawing of a heart nearly broken in half.  The overall size of the
heart itself is about half an inch by a third of an inch.  The broken heart
is suspended on a thin black fabric cord that is 18 inches long.
