Item description:

This breastplate is red in the front, silver in the back.  The red of
the front is not paint, however, but rust.  The only reason that it is
not rusty in back is that it has been worn enough that the rust has flaked
off. The resulting breastplate is rather thin, and looks as though well
placed hits with sharp weapons could split this breastplate right through
the middle.
