Item description:

The haidate is an apron of laced armor that protects the thighs and knees of
the wearer.  It is fashioned into large plates that hang loosely down in
front and at the sides.  It is worn around the waist.  The smaller plates of
the do-maru or the hara-ate would overlap the haidate slightly.
