Item description:

A long thin shaft of wood from the ash tree has knotted blood-red cords tied
around its upper half.  The longest of the cords is tied just below an ornate
mithril spear head.  Several inches of artistic metal work smoothly give way
to a narrow point of death over a foot long and razor sharp.
