Item description:

This massive object of creation has a solid gob of steel stuck to a long
polished oak handle about five feet long.  The head of the hammer must weigh
in excess of 30 pounds, and it is all you can do to wield it.  While the
weight would slow its use as a weapon, the mass involved could cause some
serious damage on impact. 
The heavy steel head has a great many dings in it, and the surface has been
polished smooth by countless thousands of repeated blows.
