Item description:

This is a bangle made of a solid piece of bloodstone, also known as
heliotrope, a greenish-black chalcedony with red flecks of iron oxide and
red jasper in it.  The shapes of the flecks do look vaguely like drops,
giving the stone an appearance that it is bleeding.
