Item description:

This staff has been made from a black hickory. A few inches down from the
top has been set a silver band. Runes of righteousness and virtue have
been engraved around the band. Also set in the band is a large blue
diamond. This diamond is known for its ability to increase the user's
wisdom and intelligence.
