Padded and heavy, this coat of leather has been sewn in a harlequin pattern.
Studs of dull metal protrude from the point of each diamond, adding further
protection to the wearer.  Its thickness would also keep out the biting chill
of the mountains, or that of the cold and dark passages beneath.
