This cheap piece of junk could have been worth quite a small fortune if it
hadn't cracked.  It's normally pure purple hue is forever marred by a
rather large spiderweb fracture.  Several small, but unknown runes line the
inner band of the ring, but you couldn't even begin to guess what they
might mean. A simple magic detection spell leads to the result of a very
old, and very strong enchantment.  It would seem that this ring would be
quite a powerful item if found in it's original state.  Even though this
ring is flawed, it seems to still have quite a bit of enchantment left
within it.
