Item description:

A wooden spear with a well crafted set of metal flutes at the tip, for
slicing and ripping softer flesh.  A dark reddish brown stain can be seen on
the wood just below the head.  The only thing odd about it is that it's a
little shorter than you would expect a spear to be.  Perhaps it was made for
a particularly short character.
