This well crafted adamantium breastplate has been bathed in the blood of a
phoenix. With the symbol of the phoenix emblazoned upon it's chest, it once
proclaimed its owner to be a follower of the gods of light and life. However
the owner grew darker and his need for power knew no bounds. He began vainly
sacrificing powerful magic items unto the darkness in the hopes that
something lived in that terrible nothingnes. Eventually his prayers were
answered and the blood of the phoenix resurfaced on this breastplate and
coalesced into the pure evil that haunts this shell now. Gazing on this
breastplate your heart quivers, for you stare into the emptiness that is his
only power.
