When in shadow, this sword appears to be nothing more than a hilt.  So black
is its blade that holding it against a white background makes it seem as
though a tear in the white exists.  It looks like negative space, and your
foes will be equally surprised by not seeing it as well as the surprise they
will have from feeling the great amount of pain dealt by it.
