Item description:

A wooden pole measuring approximately five and a half feet long with a
metal headpiece secured to one end by means of a shoe and pinion
arrangement. The head consists of ten metal prongs fanning out from the
main shaft like fingers on a hand. The prongs are eight inches in length
and the last two inches are bent forwards at a sixty degree angle to
facilitate the dredging of sludge and silt from sewers.
