Just an ordinary knights helm, make out of unusually thick metal and padded
inside with very old leather.  It has no dents in it due to the thickness of
the metal, but a number of very severe scratches indicate that it saw many
days of battle.
The crest soldered to it is that of a very simple leaf, a maple leaf.  You
will likely gain no further insight into who owned this helmet.
