A perfectly spherical pea-sized pearl is mounted in a four pronged claw
fitting on a silver base. On the underside of the base a thin sharp stud
enables this simple but elegant item to be worn as an earring, although
unfortunately the butterfly clasp to keep the item fixe din place is
missing. It is still a thing of beauty and is bound to be of interest to a
collector somewhere.
