Item description:

A wooden shield a couple of feet across.  Metal straps line the outside to
keep it together and ward off the heavier blows, while leather on the inside
allows it to be held and strapped to the arm.  It does seem to be a little
small though, as though it were made for a dwarf.
One edge of it is blackened, though you cant tell if from fire or from fungus.
