This scroll appears as if it has been lying here for an extremly long time.
On closer inspection, you notice that this is very likely a scroll of
teleport - that spell used by many mages when in exceedingly dire
circumstances.  The wording seems not quite right however, as though some
aspect of the random element has been muted.  Perhaps you are misidentifying
the spell.

There happens to be a scroll reading stand that is in the middle of the room,
allowing you to read the scroll, should you desire.
