Item description:

The hilt of this slightly curved blade has broken off cleanly and should be
fairly easy enough to repair. It is hard to tell what it was crafted out of
due to the thick coat of black crud covering every inch of its surface. It
exudes corruption, oily vapor rising from its tainted surface, promising
death to any who are foolish enough to want to possess it.
