Light Forest West

Just beyond the western gates of Ralnoth is a sparsely planted area
known as the light forest west.  Because it isn't very dense, most
denizens of the forest remain hidden and few creatures could be seen
wandering its floors.  By far the most visually active inhabitants are
several species of birds.

The forest is mostly flat, but there are still occasional gnolls and
caves that are scattered throughout the forest.  Though innocuous in
appearance, these rare forest caves could hold predators lying in wait
or... nothing at all...
