The Stone Giant Stronghold

The great stone giant stronghold lies upon the Ash Mountains just east of the
foothills.  None know of the origins of these stone behemoths for they did
not move into the Ash Mountains but seem to have sprung into existence as if
a great magic was instilled into their very bodies.  Aside from being great
warriors who value strength of arms, they are also exceptional smiths.
Working exclusively with the exceptionally strong yet heavy metal, titanium,
they forge some of the strongest weapons and armor known to Alter Aeon.

Their stronghold, manned by the strongest of their warriors, sits atop and
guards the largest if not the only repository of the titanium metal.  Some
believe that there are secret ways into the mines from the valley below the
stronghold.  However, if the stone giants are not already guarding them,
there must be reasons why they feel it is not necessary...
