On the southeast shore of Lake Jungfrau stands a great outcropping of
stone, practically a mountain in its own right. Legends say it is the
remains of a giant pyramid that outer layers have worn away. Its blasted
face is pocked with holes and cracks, some of which smoke and steam at
sundry times. Sometimes distant rounds of ringing metal seem to echo out
from its depths.

Some say the Giant's Knee is haunted, while others claim some mischievious
sprites have inhabited it to mine veins of precious stone from the
interior.
