This underwater city is located in the Southern Ocean, just south of the
end of the Great Southern Road.  The ocean is truly beautiful, with sandy
beaches and many kinds of marine animals that call it home.  But on the
horizon, something strange can occasionally be seen - a twirling fog
hanging on the distant horizon.

This fog marks the gateway to the city - a frightening, gigantic whirlpool.
 Many a sailor has unknowingly entered the gateway by accident expecting
fully to drown - only to wake up on the platform that marks the entrance to
the city, safe and sound.

The city itself is truly a wondrous place, and the people are very
friendly.  Due to the number of visitors and newcomers, the city is well
guarded.  Evil is not welcomed here, and with the amount of security
present many people don't expect it.

Atlantis has many educational services to offer. From universities to
libraries Atlantis has it - including a few guildmasters that teach spells
and skills not learnable anywhere else.  But again, be very wary if you are
evil.  If you offend any of the guards, you'll be taken care of, briskly
and efficiently.
