The city of New Thalos

When the city of Thalos was abandoned, many refugees fled to the nearby
settlement of Ralnoth. Ralnoth succored them, and after several months, a
group of Thalos refugees headed through the great portal and on to the isle
of Kordan to found a new colony. The city of New Thalos is on the southern
portion of the island, surrounded by forest. The area recently has become
dangerous to travel by night, as accounts of hauntings abound.
