Subject: The Great Corpse Rot of '97

I recall a particular time that Ranko decided to go after the adamantium
gauntlets in atlantis. She gathered up a great army, and clad in titanium,
led the way to battle. We fought through the various weaponmasters, and
reached the martial artist when disaster struck. We were too worn from the
previous battles, and did not have the strength left to defeat the martial
arts master. To make matters worse, the area repopped, closing the way back.
Some managed to escape, and some did not. To further doom this attack,
someone had carried the key inside, where it was locked in with the corpses.
The gods showed mercy, and created a second key to give the mortals a chance.
But alas, fighting through the warriors a second time took too long, and the
corpses were dragged into the underworld. Among the lost gear was a full set
of oldstyle titanium, and an old cloak of swampmoss. Thus the great corpse rot
came to pass, may the newbies fear the Dentin and be grateful for lurkset
areas.
