Within a ruined temple.
  You stand in the middle of a long hallway within a burnt-out building.  The
defiled holy symbols on the walls would seem to indicate it was a temple of
some sort.  Dim light can be seen from some of the unbroken wall sconces along
the hallway.  The rift you have arrived from blocks access to the rest of the
temple to the south.  There doesnt appear to be any way around the rift.

Inside the Chapel
You are in a small, dark chapel. The stained glass windows rise high up to
the ceiling, but do not let much light in. A few rows of worn wooden benches
line the walls, and an aisle leads to a small altar in the back of the chapel.

The priest glows with a bright light!

Heh.  I was fighting the chaos mage and decided to flee, and ended up
in the arms of a Death Knight on the other side of the chaos gate.  He
knocks me senseless and then casts on me, but his spell (whatever it
was) lands on the 4 magic resist from the SINGLE piece of MR equipment
I was wearing.

Then I fail Word of Recall, and he hits me to -5.  At this point I'm
frantically typing c word c word, and a tick happens and regens me
*just* enough to let me land a word and recall safely out.

Wow.
