oh yeah...
save time of making spells and testing them so ranko can't exploit them mercilessly
(hehe, sorry ranko :P).
make it possible for clerics to use eq that would normally be set aside for warriors.
possibly thieves, however i think that clerics shouldn't be able to become TOO powerful
(plus their deep religious background, which is a source of their power, should make
the thief skill undesirable).
However imagine how more attractive the cleric class would become if they were allowed
access to titanium eq for instance.
Thieves and mages need to be able to be dexterious and can't be burdened by much
armor, especially bulky tank eq.
However clerics should be able to use all their divine powers and wear such eq.
mages have the most mana and least hp, warriors the most hp and least mana.
clerics get a little less mana than mages, but more hp and thieves less hp than warriors,
but a little more mana.
thieves are great for hitters, warriors for tanks, mages for spellers and usually
healers, since they have the most mana, and clerics get nothing extra.
Why not give clerics the ability to tank as well as warriors, or at least better
than they do now. Now clerics only get the chance to act as non-offensive spellers.
Outside of enchanting (which is also a divine power, not a magical one) clerics are
left with little to make them worthwhile.
well, enuff for my case for implementing such a concept, any more (if not already)
and i'll become redundant and boring....cackle
