Subject: New Spells.

Here are some spells that i thought might be interesting to have in 
this mud...some are original thought...some are takin from rpgs...
check em out and see if ne interest u.


-Continual Light.


???
cast continual light     Class: Mage
 Level: 20-25      Cost: 100-150 mana(to keep usage low)
 Duration: Permenant or a VERY long time.
This spell could be used to enchant some item(permenantly or for a long
 period of time.  This light could act just like a candle or some other
light source.  Sound good?  cause personally, im tired of carrying 
around this damned eyeball for light...>:)


-Creeping Doom.
 Format: cast creeping doom TARGET''Class: Mage
 Level: 24-28         Cost: 30 mana      Duration: Instant

This spell calls upon thousands of insects to attack the target(yes, 
just like AD&D), and can cause mid-high levs of damage(think about a
thousand bees stinging u at once...it WON'T tickle).


-Chaos
 Format: cast chaos     Class: Mage    Level: 25    Cost: 40 mana
 Duration: 2-3 hours

This spell is an area effect spell that will suggest to every mob in
the room that everyone in the room is really an enemy.  It may still
attack the caster, but it will also attack other mobs.  Mabe some sort
of percent roll to see who it will attack.  short duration, to keep the
damage to game-play minimal(rather than goin around chaosing every mob
u see in hopes that it will sooner or later run into what u want to 
kill and dent it for u).  Creatures with higher int will be harder to
cast on.


-Undead Hoard
 Format: c undead hoard'Class: Mage or Priest'Level:28-30
 Cost: 300 mana +50/corpse'Duration: Until animated death

This spell will act like a suped up version of animate dead.  It can
affect all the corpses in the room, and will create a stronger
undead creature.  These can be comanded through a single order(rather
than tryin to order each individual).  This spell(with repeated use)
will slant the caster to evil(kind of a mean thing to do...disturbin
the deads eternal peace and all...).  This spell should also have a
very high cast_level to use.  i think this would be an interesting 
new spell.
A way to do the large number order could be like a group order or gorder
this would imply the order to everyone in the group, thus if the caster
wishes to order the undead, he has to group them, while still allowing
him to order a single one by use of the normal order command.


-Bloodbane

 Format: c bloodbane'Class: Mage'Lev:25-27
 Cost: 50 mana'Duration: 20 hours

This spell will create an enchantment on the caster that will inflict
damage to any creature that wounds the caster with a melee attack
(ie. slash, claw, bite, etc.) but will not effect a distance attack
(ie. spell that dont req touch...).  A random roll taken from the lev
of the caster or a percentage of the damage to the caster could be
used to determine the damage inflicted.
A drawback of this spell could be that anyone who touched the caster, say
for healing or whatever, would be harmed by the spell(if there was still
feasibly blood on the caster).  But the damage to such an individual would
be far less than that of the creature that harmed it.


-Razoredge

 Format: c razoredge TARGET'Class: Mage'Lev: 18-20
 Cost: 30 mana'Duration: dependant on lev.

This spell would increase the damage a particular weapon does by
endowing it with a magical sharpness.  this could be put into game
play by having it increse the dam-roll of a weapon.  the duration 
doesnt need to be long(mabe use the same format as bless) but should
give the caster plenty of time to go out and find somethin to kill.


-Bloodlust

 Format: c bloodlust'Class: Mage'Lev: 15-18
 Cost: 30 mana   Duration: 3-8 hours

This spell is playing off of the berserker skill.  if that is ever put
into effect, think about this.  this will allow the mage to take on 
the berserker bonuses for a limited time.  this spell could increase
hit roll, dam roll, and hp, while severly lowering MP and cast_lev
(if a person is tha
