Ok some quick observations.  I'm not sure how I feel about this idea.  I
love the idea of favor being worth something, and I like most of the buff
ideas, but I wonder how many people will be converting to gods for
perceived bonuses.  That happens now, so I don't think it's necessarily a
bad thing, just something that makes me wonder.  Honestly, in a way I feel
like clerics who are devoted to one of these deities i.e. primary cleric
class, should get a bonus to gain the favor buff.  Further, if you're sacr
ificing favor for it how much gold are you envisioning Dentin?  One favor
isn't a lot and these look fairly powerful if the buffs are at all
long-term duration and therefore they should cost something, but if this is
like enchant weapon I wonder how many people would bother.  What happens if
the god's power is low? Or your favor isn't high enough?  Do you lose the
favor point anyway? The gold? Half?  Also too many of the buffs if it is a
long duration are not nearly as attractive as others.  Our dear sun  and
moon gods for instance get shafted fairly hard core.  What's the use of a
24 hours duration buff if you only get its benefit half the time but it
costs more?  I'm sure you've considered this, but players are
supersensitive to such things.  Continued in the next post.
