Hi... Recently when i've been playing on lower level characters, the thing
that really catches my attention with the quests and skills. Most of the
time, new players designate their pracs as soon as they level, using them
all up on either skills or spells. What i've also noticed with this is,
that some of the quests require skills that the player doesn't know, sutch
as the druid quest in the stoney field. Most players don't discover that
quest until after a while and they are more focused on other skills. While
I do think this is a way to modivate people to practice more stuff, I also
think that in all fairness, not to have new players have to split their
pracs too much, I think that some basic skills like fish and/or forge
should automaticly be known to every class upon character creation, thus
not requiring their minds to be boggled up with what to learn and when to
learn it at lower levels. Mudmail me if you need a better understanding, as
I know I didn't word this quite right. Thanks, Woof.
