I'll go through systematically:

Good point on shadow bind. Can't really put too much else to that except
this: an unlit room is ALL shadow. Why shouldn't it work? And why do some
shadow skills work only with no light and some only with light?

Mobs with and without blood are clearly broken. Nuff said.

Nothing more to say about the trip issues, other than to say I'd be happy
to work on it if I were able to.

Area -modified/changed is a great idea, and would be at least as useful as
the new skill level command, if not more so, with all the active
maintenance we're doing. Second the proposition.
