FAQ 4.3 - Why don't I automatically gain levels?

Here at Alter Aeon, you can gain levels and become more skilled in several
classes.  As a result, you need to specify which class you wish to level.

Up to level 10, you can level anywhere at any time.  After level 10, you
can only level at a trainer, but there are many of them scattered
throughout the land.  Some of the more common trainers are:

In the Sloe newbie encampment, Kamrah can train warriors and thieves,
while Stiboli trains mages and clerics.

In the City of Vemarken, on the island of Sloe, there are trainers for
all of the major classes and skills.  Use the 'where' command
to find them.

The City of Gad's Landing, on the island of Archais, has higher level
trainers for mid-level players.

Due to the demand for trainers, there is usually at least one trainer in
all of the major cities.  The cities of Ralnoth and Diagaku-Tatami on the
mainland are renowned for their trainers and guilds, and most players
train in these locations once they leave the islands.
