Name:       Taran

Taran is an anomaly in the Pantheon, in that his non-human life-force was
discovered by Dentin in the wilds.  At that time, Taran was little more
than a force lacking an outlet for its power.

Dentin, carefully calculating the risks, granted Taran 'minion' status.
While working with Dentin and the other gods, the mortals of the realm
noticed the demigod and began worshipping it.  Some time passed, and the
gods conferred and allowed the snake-being full membership into the
pantheon as a junior god.  Mortals often travel far to the west where
Taran's lone priest in Finspang can be found.  Taran seems fond of mortals,
but  generally does not get involved in their affairs.

The snake-god is easily angered, but also easily appeased.  When travelling
among mortals, he takes the form of a young warrior in full armor.  Only
his closest followers and other immortals know his true form, rumoured to
be an ethereal serpent of immense size.
