There are several varieties of grassland-type terrains:

field  - grasslands with shrubs and scattered trees
mire   - peatlands, mostly moss with few trees or shrubs
sandy  - dry grasslands and savannahs, typically bordering deserts
tundra - partially or completely frozen plains and wetlands

Grasslands are wide-open spaces. They typically have more available forage
than most other terrains, though they have less wood than forests. They take
less movement to travel through than more rugged or forested terrain.
