One of the most important is the 'control' required to maintain the creature. Necromancer minions are heavily dependent on their maker. They take mana to sustain, and undead and constructs will lose strength if the castlevel of their creator drops. To see the control needed for various kinds of creatures, see the 'control list' command. Necromancers have control points up to their necromancer level, and may control various combinations of creatures so long as they do not exceed their maximum control level or the maximum number of each creature allowed. For example, you may have as many raised zombies as you can control, but only one clay man at a time.
