A teacher is a character that can teach you skills or spells.  There are
a great many teachers about, each with slightly or vastly differing skill
lists.  To see what skills and spells a teacher can teach you, use the
'slist' command.

The most commonly known teachers are:

Kamrah and Stiboli, in the newbie encampment on the Island of Sloe.
The guildmasters in the town of Vemarken, on the Island of Sloe.

Teachers can be found in the guilds in major cities around the world.
