There are a number of spells which exist, but which are uncommon,
hard to find, or simply not useful enough to be taught at all
schools.  You may stumble across references to these spells in
your travels, and occasionally find a spellbook or teacher from
which you can learn them. A few lost spells have been recovered
by studying inscriptions in ancient ruins.

Keep in mind that obscure spells may range from the useless to
extremely hazardous.  Be sure you research your new spells before
using them, and make sure you understand any possible side
effects or drawbacks!
