Here is a list of the various wear locations:

On your head
On your neck (two of these)
On your arms
On your wrists (two of these)
On your hands
On your fingers (two of these, one for each hand)
On body (vests and the like)
About body (overcoats, capes, etc)
On your waist
On your legs
On your feet

The total is fourteen items you can wear so far.

You also have two hands available to wield weapons, use shields, or hold
items.  Some weapons and some shields require both hands to use, but in
general you can use a shield and a weapon, or a held item and a weapon.
It's not currently possible to wield two one-handed weapons at the same time.
