Alter Aeon does not currently support true pets.

Some classes have what are called 'minions', which are creatures that
are under the control of player.  These can range from simple animated
constructs to raised undead to called animals to summoned elementals and
demons. None of these are proper pets, and they vanish when the player
logs off.
