Alter Aeon has a policy against spamming, and persistent spammers (whether
of automated messages or simply pestering other players manually) can
be 'spammer flagged' to prevent them from bothering the general population.

You can choose to ignore spammers, or allow them to be visible.  The
default is to ignore them, but you can allow a spammer to talk to you
using the 'ignore' command.

We recommend that you 'ignore allow' a specific spammer that you wish
to talk to instead of switching off 'ignore spammers'.  This will allow
you to talk to just a single spammer, without letting in all the
others.
