There are a number of different places on the game where you may purchase
items, potions, spells, or any number of other things.  Some of these shops
are run by players.  Others are run by the game or NPCs.

When you encounter a shop, you can use the 'list', 'buy', 'sell', and
'value' commands to purchase or sell items.  Note that selling items may
not always be possible in NPC shops, and to sell to a player shop you must
contact the player owner.
