It is rumored that some creatures, vampires in particular, have the ability
to steal the life of others and add it to their own.  This seems to be a
side effect of feeding upon life energy or vital fluids such as blood rather
than a particular spell.

While feeding directly upon other creatures in this manner seems to be an
inborn trait rather than a known art, there are a handful of learnable
abilties that are similar in nature.  Necromancers have a branch of spells
and skills that utilize blood to heal themselves and others.  Powerful druids
can drain health from animals and plants with the 'leech life' skill.
