The easiest way to gain abilities and become more powerful is to raise your
characters' levels.  Higher level characters are allowed wider access to
magical spells and skills, and can typically use more powerful items.

To level, use the 'level' command when you have enough experience.

You may 'level' in any class you choose, if you have sufficient experience to
do so.  It will cost more to level your second and third classes than it will
to level your primary.

The sum of all your levels together is your total level.

(advanced players) Your hp/mana/movement are a stateless function of your
stats and levels.  The order in which you level or train does not affect
the final result.
