If you are one of the old style level types:

ltype 0 (1995)
ltype 1 (1998)

then you can convert your character to ltype 2 using the 'level convert'
command.

When used with no arguments, 'level convert' displays what your stats
would be after conversion.  To convert your character, you must also
enter in your character name and a secret key.

Note that conversion is PERMANENT, and cannot be reversed.
