Flame has long fascinated humankind. It is our most useful tool, and our
most devastating weapon. The world itself is lit and warmed by a great
wheel of fire. Fire lives deep in the bowels of world, where it is hot
enough to make stone run like water. Fire has many secrets.

Perhaps of the greatest secret of fire is the mystery of orichalcum. This
pinkish-orange metal is known for its affinity for fire, especially when
alloyed with adamantium. Ironically, the largest veins of this rare metal
are found in Atlantis, deep beneath the Southern Ocean. A few scattered
deposits of less pure ores can be found on islands in the Southern Ocean,
remnants of ancient volcanic floes.

Orichalum was once highly prized by the Dragon Emperor, as it was used to
make weapons to fight the drow.  Stores of the precious metal are hidden in
many places across Suboria.
