Title: a book called 'The history of Ralnoth'

Ralnoth started as a fortress.  Some claim it was built by the gods
themselves to house humankind at the time of their creation. It became a
safe haven for the good people of the world. In the peaceful times that
followed, Ralnoth grew too big for the confines of the fortress and
branched out from it. After some initial setbacks, including a disastrous
battle with Kha'Khessir the Black Dragon, Ralnoth became a dominant force
in the region. Other colonies of humans sprung up, and human settlements
dotted the world.

As Ralnoth grew, so did trade. The Great Southern Road originally connected
Ralnoth with the nearby community of Thalos and the dwarven kingdom of
Khal-Uktar. An eastern trade route lead to Hartmur and Ironheart. When the
dwarf Oenath built his famous bridge over the Green River, connecting the
northern realms with Avalon, Trinsic and the Dragon Empire's colonies on
the coast, Ralnoth became the center of commerce for the entire continent. 

Many years passed and a branch of human supremacists broke off from the
Church of Dentin. They formed the Cult of Dentin. They believed that
humankind was destined to rule the world from Ralnoth, the fortress given
to them by the gods. In an attempt to take control of the city government,
they used powerful magic to summon an Unholy Eater. They lost control of
the Eater and it destroyed the Temple of Dentin, a large part of the
fledgling University, and a third of southern Ralnoth.  Teeth marks can
still be seen on some of the rubble.

The current mud school was built on top of the ruined temple, and the Mud
University moved entirely into and took over the confines of the original
fortess.  Four great warriors allowed themselves to be turned to stone and
watch and protect the innocent for all times, insuring that the cult of
Dentin never again threatens the weak.
