Title: Legend Book II: Varril's Sway


     Varril's Sway

Varril was a renowned diplomat and artificer in ancient times. He served as
advisor in the court of several kings during his lifetime. Little known is
the fact that Varril was responsible for the downfall of most of those who he
served, his subtle manipulations leading the fiefdoms into one hopeless war
after another. Likewise, he had similar habits with his enchanting. Many
warriors went into battle wielding holy relics, only to find that Varril had
twisted their enchantments, bending them to his evil will. In a few cases,
Varril was seen spreading a strange dust over the artifacts in question.
