                                 VICTORY!!!
       Rebel Forces are Victorious Over Combine Invaders at K'tin Lake

Combine aggressors have once again been shown that the free peoples of the
K'tinga River Valley will NEVER submit to tyranny!  The Naginag Combine
launched an attack against our camps around the K'tin Lake early last week.
Commando teams led the strike by first attempting to disrupt operations by
casting destructive spells toward the center of the camp.  Afterwards,
waves of frontline 1st and 7th leg. soldiers marched around the north and
south shores of the K'tin Lake in a two-pronged maneuver designed to trap
rebel fighters and prevent them from escaping.  Our people fought
courageously against scores of battle-hardened troops, downing many of them
before being forced to retreat before their vastly superior numbers.  Many
managed to make it to the nearby mountains, firing spells and missile weapons
at pursuing Combine soldiers all the while, but most of our brave fighters
rowed or swam into the lake and made a stand at the entrance of the sunken
Castle Luz.  Combine forces tried to pursue rebels into the water with
6th leg. marines, but the enemy murlocks' attacks were routed, and, after
several hours of intense fighting, the Combine army gave up.  Our brave
fighters breathed a sigh of relief and rejoiced when Combine forces were seen
fleeing from the field of battle.

Unlike the Combine, who have repeatedly indicated that they cannot accurately
report battle statistics, 36 Combine soldiers are confirmed killed, at least
20 were wounded, and our forces count 7 dead and 27 wounded.  This is a
MAJOR DEFEAT for the Combine, even if their leaders won't admit it.  Don't
be fooled into thinking that the Combine is somehow invincible and can never
be stopped:  our victory shows that we _can_ overthrow them and free
Natchsburg!  We urge all able-bodied men and women to join us--help fight
evil--JOIN THE REBELLION!

                          ENEMY OUTPOST DESTROYED
          Combine Attempt to Tame the Wilderness of Zin Thwarted

Hopes of building a road between Natchsburg and Westfall (we refuse to use
the nagas' name for the town) were blown away when an outpost recently
established by the Naginag Combine at the foot of the Ash Mountains was
found completely destroyed earlier in the month.  The Combine had built an
army base on the remains of Quelese ruins on a hill in the northeast
Wilderness of Zin to reinforce Combine presence.  The Combine named the
outpost Q'Seneg.  It had only been operational for a few months before, one
day, it was found deserted by a passing ranger patrol.  All of the base's
defenders, members of the 4th leg., were dead or missing, and all of the towers
had been torn down.

The party responsible for this blow against the Combine has yet to be
identified, but we here at the Voice of the Resistance strongly suspect it
was accomplished by either our janni allies the Jammu tribe, our murlock
friends the Sel'juk, or one of the other free murlock clans who fight against
the Combine.  We applaud the efforts of our allies, and encourage all
peoples, tribes and villages to resist the tyranny that the nagas and their
cohorts bring.  Our motto here at the Voice of the Resistance is:  BE FREE.

        Visiting Caliph Declares Natchsburgers to be 'Soulless Dogs'

In a rare public appearance, one of Ubar's leading religious figures spoke to
occupying 7th leg. soldiers in Natchsburg's public square several days ago
and encouraged his followers to continue to abuse locals by declaring the
people of Natchsburg to be 'without a soul to speak of, cursed of Talos' and
therefore not worthy of humane treatment.  He further went on to say that
residents were 'worse than dogs, as our hounds are faithful to Talos'
command' whereas Nachtsburgers were not.  He then praised their naga allies
