Title: A Guide to the Districts of Naginag

Welcome to the great, glorious and ancient city of Naginag, on the island
of Q'Inag!

Naginag has grown considerably from her former days as a far-flung outpost
of the Kingdom of Q'thelas. In ancient times, only the western shore around
the harbor was settled, and a necropolis for Battle Masters was kept far
away on the east side of Q'Inag. It is now the seat of government for the
Naginag Combine!

Visiting Naginag for the first time can be a bewildering experience. The
Naginag Chamber of Commerce has put together this guide to help you
navigate through our wondrous city.

The first thing to note is that Q'Inag is actually three islands. The White
Island makes up the northwest quarter. The largest, the Green Island,
occupies the center, and the bulk of the city is located there. The
smallest, the Blue Island, is preserved for historical reasons but is not
inhabited.

The second thing to note is that there are eight main districts to the
city.

The first district the overwhelming majority of travelers find themselves
in is the Docks District. Home of sailors, craftsmen and laborers, the
Docks are always alive with the sounds of commerce. The Boardwalk is a
popular destination, featuring specialty restaurants as well as the
services of the Courtesan's Guild. If you get lost, you can easily find
your way back to the docks by locating and walking towards the Orange
Menagerie Orb.

Directly north of the Docks District, separated by a canal, is the Military
District. This part of the city houses the headquarters for the First,
Third and Fifth Legions of the Naginag Combine. There are also numerous
guilds that cater to the more adventurous amongst us, as well as
attractions for off-duty soldiers and tourists alike.

South of the Docks District is the Park District. Of special interest is
the Naginag City Park at the extreme south end with its zoo, and the
district is also home to the Druids' Sanctuary.

North of the Military District, on the other side of Mesco's Wall, is the
peninsular North District. Known for its affordable housing and colorful
characters, the North District is an uncommon destination for travelers.
However, there is plenty to see and do there if you feel like going off the
beaten paths!

East of the Military District is the Government District. This part of the
city houses most of the local adminstrators and clerical workers. Notable
buildings include the courthouse, the Naginag Watch Head Quarters and the
Q'Inag Mint. Don't be fooled into thinking it is all work and no play,
though! After hours, there is a lively nightlife in the District's many
parks and restaurants.

South of the Government District and east of the Docks District is the
heart of the city's economy -- the Market District. Shops and restaurants
feature goods from all over the world, and most of the city's guilds have a
strong presence here. Most notable are the Magic Quarter on the north side,
where the Mages' Guild and several close affiliates operate a variety of
shops, as well as the Naginag Museum. Opposite the Magic Quarter is the
Temple Mount, featuring the great Pantheistic Chapel of Naginag.

East of the Market District is the Old City. This part of Naginag is
dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of ancient Q'thelas and is
off-limits to most visitors. The Silver Palace of Naginag stands on the
southeast corner of the island, and is visible even over the walls and
spires of the Old City.

Finally, south of the Market District is the Necropolis, colloquially known
as the Funerary District. It stands before the Wall of Redemption and is
dedicated to the several guilds which honor and guard the sacred remains of
the island's ancestors.
