A fairly accomplished fighter and adept healer, he was tempted one day to flirt with the power of the magii. Having not the skill nor experience for the powers he unleashed, he was torn assunder, the very atoms of his body becoming separated from one another in an ordeal that lasted a day and wreaked havoc with the room in which he studied. No trace of his body was ever found, although rumours began to circulate that his ghost wandered the halls of a great clan, seeking the answers to reform his body once more. There were a select few, however, who were privy to his story. His transformation complete, they knew he would not be back, consumed as he was with the new found existence and freedom it afforded him. The mighty clan accepted Myst-who-was-Os with welcome arms and wings, and much mirth and merriment were shared in the group he found there. He learned to call them brothers, and enjoyed the camraderie immensely. The winds of change blow harshly on some, and miss others completely. The clan he had joined changed, with many being sucked into the Void that is only whispered of - rl - rarely to return, and then for only brief moments in time. As Myst approached his goal of mastering the arcane arts and abilities of the magii, his soul grew restless, seeking new challenges, loftier peaks. At the end of a torturous journey through ancient ruins, Myst realized he had come to rely more on his wits and a few close friends than the group into which he had been clanned. After much careful consideration, thought and reflection, Myst packed his battle pack one last time, and quietly slipped outside, to pursue ... well, he wasnt too sure on that one, but he left all the
