This warrior was a general in the armies of good and went by the name of warsong. He was loved and admired by the troops he lead and by the people of the kingdom. One day, while traveling with a company of his best men, they came upon an army of such proportions of the like they had never seen. "Ser, they must be 10 thousand thousand strong!" exclaimed one of his captains. "Indeed they are captain. I forsaw this. You must take 3 of the fastest men and ride with all haste to the capital and warn the king priest." "But ser, what about you?" "I will stay with the rest and give you time to escape." :but ser!" "do as I say captain!" The man saluted his commanding officer and ran off to gather his men. mean while, the main scouts of the army of darkness spotted the small company of men gathered near their encampment and sounded the alarm. Warsong assessed the battle field with a critical eye and finally ordered his men to fall into formation and lead the charge himself. The battle was short and bloody. Out of the 3000 men who had ridden out that week, not one survived. Accept one, warsong was captured by the enemy leader, a mage priest of the god of darkness. The tale has it, that the screams of the mighty warrior could be heared for days and days with no end. But one day, they fell silent. Years later, after the captain had warned the king priest and helped raise an army big enough to defeat the darkness, a man walked in threw the capital gates. When asked for his name by the guard at the gate, he didn't respond. but when asked about his business in the capital, he answered in a voice whitch was more onto a hissing whisper "I must see the king priest." The guards were uneasy about this man. He was tall, lean but well-built, and silent as a wraith in his movements. A dark black cloak hung from his shoulders and at his waist hung a scaberd with a sword in it. NOn the less, they lead him to the palace where he was instructed to wait. He refused drink, food, and a chair to rest in. After a while, a servant came to lead him to the king priest. They entered a well lit and specious chamber and the servant left the man. THe king priest, now an old man, sat in a wooden throne inlayed with gold lining. With a hand motion, he invited the man to sit but he did not and instead took a step toards the king priest. "You wanted to see me my son?" ask the old and kind man. "Do you not remember me your exultedness?" hissed the man. The king priest took a closer look at the man and gasped in horror and recognition. "Warsong?" whispered the priest. He looked like a man come back from the grave. His once handsome features were crisscrossed with scars and his eyes were now black with what was purely evil intent and hatred. "Yes, it is I. I have returned." The warrior of evil threw back his head and laughed. "I have returned, charged with a very important task. The task to rid the world of your light!" And with that, he drew a sword black with blood and pinned the king priest to his throne. "Why warsong, why!" cried the old man as he died. "The time of the light is ended. The time of the darkness, has arrived!"
